- Day 1
Arrive in Malé, speedboat to Maafushi
Meet the representative at Velana airport and continue by shared speedboat to Maafushi for the first island night.
- Day 2
Maafushi at leisure
Breakfast is included and the day stays open for the bikini beach, a sandbank trip or an optional excursion.
- Day 3
A second island day
Another unhurried day on Maafushi, with optional snorkelling or a dolphin cruise arranged locally.
- Day 4
Maafushi to Colombo
Return speedboat to Malé and fly on to Colombo, where a private car continues to Unawatuna on the south coast.
- Day 5
Udawalawe safari
A full-day safari at Udawalawe National Park, the most reliable elephant viewing in Sri Lanka, before returning to the coast.
- Day 6
Train ride and turtle hatchery
Take the coastal train, then visit a turtle hatchery on the way back to Unawatuna.
- Day 7
Unawatuna and Galle at leisure
Keep the day open for Galle Fort, the beach or an optional Madu Ganga river safari.
- Day 8
Departure
Check out and take the private transfer to Colombo airport for the return journey.
