For a simple return flight with no visa involved, compare online first — booking apps are fast and often competitive. For anything involving a visa, a multi-city route, or a group, an agency usually saves both money and trouble, because consolidator fares and change conditions are not visible on public sites.
When should you book?
For international travel from Dhaka, several weeks ahead is generally better than several days, and peak periods — Eid, winter holidays, Hajj and Umrah season — need considerably more lead time. Fares on Dhaka routes move sharply around these.
The exception is anything visa-dependent. Do not buy a non-refundable ticket before a visa decision. Use a flight reservation for the application instead, and buy once the visa is issued.
What baggage allowance should you check?
