Frequently asked questions

Guidelines for submissions, photo requirements and our moderation process.

What counts as a hidden gem?+

A hidden gem is a quiet, lesser-known spot that standard tourist guides usually overlook: secluded waterfalls, scenic river bends, hill viewpoints, historic ruins, village sanctuaries, or local community eateries. Widely commercialised attractions that are already heavily documented do not qualify.

What happens after you send one?+

Every submission is reviewed by Marks Aviation staff before it appears on the website. We verify the location details, inspect the photos, check route directions, and format the guide. Nothing appears publicly until approved by our team.

How are contact details used?+

Your contact details are strictly confidential and will never be published or shared. We use your email or Bangladeshi mobile number only if our editorial team needs to clarify route details, safety notes, or factual information about the place.

What are the rules for photos?+

You must provide between 5 and 10 of your own original photos showing the location and the journey. Images must be taken by you, clear and well-lit, and should not include close-up faces of strangers without their consent.

Submissions are checked by Marks Aviation travel advisors. Travel conditions and local fares can vary by season; always verify safety and transport locally.
