Rajshahi city sits directly on the north bank of the mighty Padma river. The concrete embankment at T-Dam, Boro Kuthi, and Muktamancha offers long paved walkways overlooking the wide expanse of water towards the sandbars. In the dry season, visitors take country boat rides out to the temporary chars, while food vendors along the embankment sell roasted corn, tea, and local sweets as the sun sets over the river.
