Set in a crater-like hollow roughly 1,200 feet above sea level in Ruma upazila, this natural freshwater lake is fringed by Bawm tribal villages. Local folklore tells of a dragon residing in the water whose wrath formed the deep basin. Basic wooden homestays run by village families offer lodging for travellers heading onward to Keokradong.
