Nafakhum is a wide cascade on the Remakri River deep in Thanchi upazila, often called one of the largest waterfalls by water volume in the country. The fall drops several metres over massive rock benches where the river plunges into a swirling gorge. Travel is strictly by engine boat through the rocky Remakri canal followed by a riverside trek over boulders.
