Politician Sharfuddin Ahmed Santu founded this 14-acre complex in 2003 and opened it for prayer in 2006. The main prayer hall holds nine domes and is flanked by a 193-foot-tall minaret, with Middle Eastern marble, hand-carved calligraphic inscriptions, and ornamental gardens mirrored in large artificial lakes. Coloured floodlights illuminate the domes at dusk. Remove footwear at the gateway and dress conservatively before entering the inner courtyard.
