Situated at the western tip of Chandpur town where the Dakatia flows into the combined flow of the Padma and Meghna, this point offers expansive water views often compared to an inland sea. Visitors gather on the paved walkways and concrete tetrapod embankments near the 1971 Raktadhara monument to watch passenger launches, cargo ships and fishing trawlers cruise past. Come in late afternoon to watch the sunset over the distant char islands and sample fresh fried hilsa from local food stalls.

How to get to Chandpur Boro Station Mohona
At the western end of Chandpur town, right next to Chandpur Boro Station railway terminal. A cycle rickshaw from the town centre or launch ghat takes 5–10 minutes.

River currents are exceptionally swift and deep along the embankment; swimming or wading into the water is strictly prohibited.
