Constructed in the early 19th century by zamindar brothers Loharam and Radhamadhab Roy, this tall brick tower was once part of an ornate temple complex along the old Dakatia riverbank. While most adjacent structures have collapsed into the river over the decades, the central shikhara tower still stands erect with detailed floral brick carvings. Local lore surrounds the zamindars with dramatic legends of fierce rule and river piracy.
