Established in the mid-19th century by zamindar Ahmad Raja Chowdhury, this extensive family compound remains one of the best-preserved feudal manor houses in the district. The estate contains a grand entry portal with guard quarters, two-storey residential wings with wooden balconies, a family cemetery, and a historic three-domed brick mosque. The surrounding grounds and large fish ponds offer a quiet, shaded stroll away from the river traffic.

How to get to Rupsa Zamindar Bari
In Rupsa village of Faridganj upazila, about 14 km south-east of Chandpur town. CNG auto-rickshaws run from Chandpur to Faridganj (25 minutes), then local auto-rickshaws take 10 minutes to Rupsa.

Descendants of the zamindar family reside in parts of the property; please ask permission before photographing private residential quarters.
