Constructed in 1924 under railway engineer Mr. Foy, this man-made lake was created by throwing a dam across a valley between low hills to supply water to railway colonies. Today the scenic reservoir is bordered by green hills and linked to boat rides that lead across the water to Sea World water park and lakeside cottages. Paddle boats and engine boats ferry visitors across the tranquil coves.
