Attributed to the reign of Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah, this nine-domed mosque in Boalmari stands along an old trade route linked to Sher Shah Suri. Four stone columns divide the square interior into nine bays, each roofed by a low dome. After centuries buried under jungle it was rediscovered in the early 20th century and later repaired by the archaeology department. Few travellers make the detour off the highway, so you will usually have the brick courtyard to yourself.
