Commissioned in 1493 and completed in 1513 under the administration of Shah Majlis Amin during the reign of Sultan Alauddin Husain Shah, this red-brick mosque stands on an earthen elevation. Its main square prayer chamber is crowned by a broad central dome, flanked by three smaller domes over a front veranda. The exterior walls display delicate geometric and floral terracotta plaques comparable to Gauda monuments. Remove your shoes at the courtyard entry and dress conservatively.

How to get to Shankarpasha Shahi Mosque
Located in Uchail village, about 8 km south of Habiganj town. A direct CNG auto-rickshaw from town reaches the mosque in about 20 minutes.
