Archaeologists uncovered this ancient monastic compound at Raghurampur in 2013, revealing five residential cells and a central prayer hall dating from the Pala dynasty. The site connects directly to the Buddhist scholar Atisa Dipankara, who was born in nearby Bajrayogini before travelling to Tibet. Brick foundations and clay stupa bases remain visible in the open excavation trenches. A small local exhibition shed displays excavated potsherds and stone fragments.
