Created in 1993 by the Sherpur district administration, this popular recreation complex sits among undulating Sal forest knolls right against the Indian border. Attractions include an artificial crescent lake with pedal boats, a 60-foot watchtower offering views of the Meghalaya hills, an underground tunnel path, and a small tribal museum showcasing Garo culture. Visitors can stroll along paved ridge trails shaded by teak and acacia trees. On winter weekends picnic groups create a lively atmosphere, so visit early in the day.
