Established in 1999 across nearly 100 hectares of the Mymensingh Forest Division, Madhutila encompasses rolling mounds covered in native Sal, Segun, and medicinal trees. A star-shaped watchtower on the highest mound looks out over the forested ridges extending into Meghalaya, where wild elephant herds occasionally pass during migration seasons. The park features pedal boating on an artificial lake, suspension bridges across wooded ravines, and quiet stone pathways. Keep to daylight hours and heed local forest ranger advice regarding elephant movements.
