Dewan Shahbaz Ali of Sarail built this single-span brick arch bridge in the 1650s across a marshy creek connecting Sarail with the main Mughal post road. Its steep ramp and thick masonry were designed specifically to bear the weight of war elephants and camel convoys. Now preserved by the Department of Archaeology, the bridge sits just off the modern Dhaka–Sylhet highway surrounded by rice fields.
