Discovered by hikers in 2009 inside the dense Kurma forest beat, this remote cascade drops between 40 and 45 metres down a sheer rock face. Getting here requires wading for two to three hours along ankle-to-knee-deep rocky stream beds (jhiripath) surrounded by wild bamboo and mossy cliffs. The pool at the base provides a cool rest spot after the slippery uphill and riverbed march. Always hire an experienced local guide from Kolabonpara village and carry a bamboo walking stick for balance.
