Madhabkunda is one of the highest and best-known natural waterfalls in Bangladesh, fed by streams flowing down the Patharia hill range. The cascade plunges roughly 49 metres over fractured black stone into a foaming pool ringed by boulders and tea-covered foothills. A paved footpath with railings leads from the parking compound down to the edge of the gorge. Avoid swimming directly underneath the main fall, where submerged currents and falling debris can be hazardous.
