Erected in 1984 by the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, this multicolored cable-stayed pedestrian bridge stretches 335 feet across a quiet arm of Kaptai Lake. The footbridge connects two forested hillsides within the Parjatan tourism complex, offering walkers elevated perspectives of passing traditional sampans and surrounding pine trees. It remains the most recognized landmark of Rangamati town, drawing crowds of weekend visitors. Visit early in the morning before tourist groups arrive, as the wooden deck can bounce significantly under heavy foot traffic.
