Located in Barkal upazila, this dramatic watercourse tumbles down a nearly vertical stone precipice straight into an inlet of Kaptai Lake. The water volume reaches its peak during the monsoon months, creating a curtain of spray against towering red-rock bluffs that echo through the narrow lake defile. Because the falls sit isolated along the waterway, casual visitors rarely make the journey except by chartered motor launch. Combine the trip with a stop at Shuvolong military camp viewpoint and a meal of fried lake carp at Shuvolong bazaar.
