Perched high on the Mizoram border ridge in Baghaichhari upazila, Sajek is an alpine-like plateau inhabited by the Lushai and Tripura peoples. The main settlement at Ruilui Para features wooden eco-resorts built on stilts along the ridge crest, looking out over sweeping cloud valleys that fill with white mist at dawn. Further up the winding road lies Konglak Para, the highest village accessible on foot, offering 360-degree mountain vistas into neighboring India. Civilian vehicles must travel within designated army convoys from Dighinala, departing twice daily.
