Located in Balia union about eighteen kilometres north-east of Thakurgaon town, this historic brick mosque was constructed around 1910 under the patronage of local landlord Meher Bakhsh Chowdhury. Local accounts record that Chowdhury hired master masons from Murshidabad to create a monument combining Mughal domes with regional terracotta traditions. The rectangular building features three ribbed domes, octagonal corner turrets with urn finials, and an intricately carved brick facade with floral paneling and arched niches. Beside the mosque lies a masonry water reservoir and graveyard shaded by mango groves, making it an evocative stop on the rural road to Bhulli.
