Raja Indranarayan Debroy and his successors established this riverside estate in the mid-17th century, constructing seven temples dedicated to Kali, Shiva, and Vishnu along the Begabati River. While the main residential palace has largely eroded, several terracotta shrines including the Siddheshwari and Rajeshwar temples remain standing with relief carvings depicting epic narratives. The complex has been partially restored and set within quiet gardens that attract day-trippers on weekends.
