Established around the mid-18th century by Lakshminarayan Ray, an agent or dalal for the British East India Company, this five-acre estate became the administrative center for extensive regional estates. The complex includes the ruined palace residence, a council chamber, inner courtyards, and brick storehouses. Across the road lies Khoa Sagor Dighi, a massive 22-acre water body renowned for dense morning mists in winter. Walk through the western pavilion for the clearest view of the old facade against the water.

How to get to Dalal Bazar Zamindar Bari
About 5 km north-west of Lakshmipur town centre along the road to Raipur. A CNG auto-rickshaw or battery rickshaw takes 15 minutes to reach Dalal Bazar.

Portions of the masonry walls are decayed; take care when walking near unreinforced arches and roofless chambers.
