Founded during the late Mughal and early British period by Munshi Balaram Das, an official under Raja Sitaram Ray, this rural estate was the ancestral seat of the influential Munshi family. The compound includes the ornate Radhakanta Jiu temple, crumbling two-storey residential wings, and a secluded family pond. While neglected over the decades, the arched masonry and overgrown courtyard offer a glimpse of feudal country life in old Jessore district. Speak to the caretakers living nearby before walking through the inner yard.
