Marked by an inscribed zero milestone, Banglabandha is the geographic apex of Bangladesh, lying at the northern tip of Tetulia upazila. The land port here handles overland truck trade with India and transit cargo routes connecting to Nepal and Bhutan via the Siliguri corridor. Border gates and flag-lined frontier posts stand against tea plots and stone-sorting depots where Himalayan boulders are processed. Joint retreat ceremonies by border guards occasionally take place on national holidays.
