Opened in June 2022, the Padma Multipurpose Bridge spans over six kilometres across the open delta waters, linking the southwestern districts directly to the capital. The Jazira landing point at Naodoba features a major highway interchange, toll plaza and accessible river dykes overlooking the steel truss spans. Visitors gather in the late afternoon to feel the river wind and watch passenger ferries pass beneath the roadway. Local tea stalls along the access road serve light refreshments and snacks.
