Local zamindar Gurucharan Chakrabarty constructed this brick temple complex around 1898 in memory of his mother. The main conical shikhara rises nearly twenty metres above the surrounding flat farmland, displaying ornamental floral brick mouldings and arched recesses. Smaller Shiva shrines stand around the perimeter of the courtyard alongside an old bathing tank. The peaceful village surroundings remain undisturbed by mass tourism.
