Hason Raja was a wealthy zamindar and philosopher-poet whose mystical folk songs continue to shape Bengali oral traditions. His family's nineteenth-century homestead in the Tegharia quarter has been curated as a compact private museum exhibiting his handwritten song manuscripts, ceremonial swords, walking canes, and period furniture. Visitors can see the courtyard where the poet composed songs, and browse published editions of his lyrics. A family descendant often shows visitors around and explains the history of the house.
