Established in 1963 on the campus of Bangladesh Agricultural University, this garden stretches along the western bank of the Old Brahmaputra. The collection includes more than a thousand plant species, organized into sections for medicinal herbs, rare orchids, aquatic flora, and ancient timber species. Shaded avenues run along the river dyke, making it a favorite walking path for students and naturalists. Combine your visit with a walk across the wider university campus to see the fisheries and livestock farms.

How to get to BAU Botanical Garden
About 4 km south of Mymensingh town centre. Shared battery autos and cycle-rickshaws run continuously from Ganginarpar to the university campus in 15–20 minutes.
