Sayeed Khan Panni built this mosque in 1609 in honour of the Sufi saint Shah Baba Kashmiri, blending Sultanate building traditions with Mughal decorative arts. The compact structure has a large central dome over the square prayer chamber and three smaller domes over the eastern veranda, framed by fluted corner turrets. The eastern facade displays delicate terracotta panels featuring floral rosettes, arabesques and geometric brick tracery. The building was famously illustrated on the former ten-taka currency note.
