Fateh Dad Khan Ghaznavi Lohani founded this estate after his family migrated from Ghazni to Bengal, becoming influential Muslim landlords in the Mymensingh-Tangail region. Known locally as the North House, the single-storey brick manor exhibits a mixture of colonial arched verandas and Mughal courtyard layouts. Novelist Mir Mosharraf Hossain resided here for a time while working on literary manuscripts. The grounds hold an old three-domed family mosque, a pond and tall mahogany trees.
