Sitting directly on the highway and rail corridor connecting Dhaka to Chattogram, Feni serves as a gateway to the south-eastern coast and the hill districts. The district is shaped by the Feni and Muhuri rivers, which flow down from the Tripura hills into large reservoirs and coastal polders before meeting the Bay of Bengal. Beyond its transport links, visitors stop for its centuries-old water reservoirs and Mughal-era rural mosques.
